Description de l'offre
Texte d'origine publié par l'employeur, non modifié.
As a remote-first organization headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, Kobie values meaningful in-person connection and collaboration that strengthens our teams, supports our clients, and enhances our culture. While travel requirements vary by role, periodic travel may be required to support business objectives, team collaboration, customer engagements, training, and company events. Candidates should be able and willing to travel as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
About the team and what we'll build together
Kobie is a values-led organization where we believe that everyone is a leader, regardless of their position or role. The SA (Solutions Architect) acts as a Kobie SME, investigating client needs through a loyalty lens. They can visualize and articulate client needs, at the intersection of client desired outcomes and Kobie capabilities. They communicate desired client outcomes clearly across workstreams to ensure project success as the enterprise-wide "connective tissue" for a project. During a project, they set the tone for, and manage direction of, the client business solution as they align the team to the associated project scope.
This role partners closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery, and is remote/hybrid with travel expected up to once per quarter. While it has no direct reports, it owns end-to-end solution scope and cost alignment for standard engagements, setting the bar for solution rigor that other teams rely on.
How you will make an impact
- Owns Discovery to Define the Right Solution: Elicits and validates business requirements that align client objectives with platform capabilities.
- Delivers Solution Documentation: Creates and maintains BRDs, SCDs, and Epic/Feature briefs that keep solutions traceable end-to-end.
- Manages Feasibility and Cost Alignment: Scopes standard engagements independently, coordinating COGS validation across delivery, data, software, CS, and strategy.
- Aligns Understanding Across Teams: Acts as the connective tissue between business, product, and technical teams throughout each project.
- Serves as Product and Platform SME: Represents solution expertise in RFPs, RFIs, and upsell conversations.
- Translates Feedback into Product Direction: Channels client and market insight to shape platform roadmap decisions.
- Optimizes Sales Enablement: Builds demos, proposals, and pitch materials that establish technical credibility with clients.
- Owns Solution Acceptance: Maintains design integrity from planning through launch, flagging delivery risks early.
- Presents Options and Guides Tradeoffs: Helps clients and internal teams weigh scope, cost, and feasibility tradeoffs.
- Coordinates Pre-Sales to Delivery Handoff: Translates solution intent and decisions so delivery teams avoid rework.
- Escalates Risk Early: Recognizes when a decision exceeds standard scope and raises it before it becomes a delivery issue.
- At the End of the First Year, Success Means: Owning solutioning end-to-end, earning trust across Sales, Delivery, and Product, and shaping at least one roadmap decision.
What you need to be successful
- 3-5 years of experience in solutions architecture, business requirements analysis, or technical pre-sales within a technology environment.
- Documents business requirements into BRDs, SCDs, and Epic/Feature briefs that keep solutions traceable from discovery through delivery.
- Validates delivery cost estimates (COGS) across data/analytics, software, CS, and strategy workstreams to confirm feasibility.
- Applies Agile/Scrum, waterfall, and iterative delivery methodologies to structure solution plans that fit each client's approach.
- Builds solution demos, proposals, and pitch materials that establish technical credibility in RFP, RFI, and upsell settings.
- Coordinates dependencies across marketing, data/analytics, and partner integration workstreams to keep multi-team solutions aligned.
- Identifies scope drift and delivery risk, translating findings into corrective action plans for delivery and client teams.
- Working knowledge of loyalty marketing programs and mechanics.
- Delivery experience in retail, financial services, or travel & hospitality.
- Familiarity with MarTech platforms (e.g., campaign management, CDP, personalization tools) to align solutions with a client's tech stack.
