Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. This includes cutting, rearranging, and enhancing footage, adding music, graphics, and sound effects to create compelling video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create engaging and high-quality content for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, marketing campaigns).

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Select the most effective shots and sequences to tell a story or convey a message.

• Incorporate graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance the final product.

• Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and technical specifications.

• Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archives.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and editing workflows, excellent storytelling and pacing abilities, attention to detail, creative thinking.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, patient, good communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, collaborative spirit.
